Express Fitness

Berard Martel Architecture, Inc. has designed a prototype fitness facility for the Executive Health and Sports Center , a Manchester, New Hampshire based business that has been operational since 1987. The new satellite facility, Express Fitness, located in suburban Hooksett, New Hampshire, offers its members 16,000 s.f. of state-of-the-art cardiovascular and muscle toning equipment, a cardio theater, several fitness studios, an onsite supervised playroom, locker room facilities, and tanning booths. The assignment required a former retail automotive parts store to be transformed to a physical exercise environment that allows patrons to feel comfortable and motivated. Express Fitness opened October 2000 with overwhelming praise from its members.
