The project program for this 10,000 SF dental practice was driven by a number of factors. THese included a very small site that resulted in the elevating of the building over the parking, the client's wish list for a 'signature' building answering to modernist design criteria and a floorplan-driven, highly efficient dental care facility suited to a large partnership practice.

Through the use of an organic palette of materials including stone, copper and wood, efforts were made to provide a complimentary design to the adjacent Victorian residences and offices.

The project was never constructed as it failed planning board approval due to vociferous objections by the adjoining historic zone building owners.
