This retailing client requested we design a mixed use building housing their offices, showroom and storage facility. The rear, storage portion of this home furnishings facility was best achieved with a pre-engineered structure. The front and more visible part of the building was clad in masonry, a more suitable finish for this office/industrial park setting.

The entry to the showroom was dressed in metal roofing over a glass-in volume ceiling. The client did request we design the building in a flexible manner, allowing for an easy second use of the building by a future occupant. In this case, the “punched window” design to the building front would allow for ready transition to an office use.
