Berard Martel Architecture, Inc. includes interior designers capable of offering design ideas that originate with the  desires of our clients.  We provide specifications and sourcing of finishes, furnishings and way-finding elements.  We make the client a part of the decision making process and continually adhere to their specific needs and wants.

 

 
Berard Martel Architecture, Inc. realizes the significance of pre-project planning and assistance to the Civil Engineers. The planning process offers many challenges that we are equipped to meet. Services

Along with traditional A/E building services from early design to Construction Documents to construction phase support, 
we offer the following specialty abilities...

 

 

• Existing Conditions Inventory: Secure all pertinent information relative to existing building assemblies 

   and relevant infrastructure.


• Masterplanning: Overall site/complete facility expansion, phasing, feasibility studies or layouts. 

  Providing input to Civil Engineers during initial site layout design including multi-building projects and phased planned unit developments. .


• Project Program Development: Analysis of the client's intended layout and design, material usage, cost 

  estimation support and scheduling, and construction delivery selection. Also included would be due 

  diligence reports and feasibility studies.


• Green Design: Adhering to accepted standards such as Energystar, LEED, Ashrae and a 'customized' standard, we will meet 

  any level of Green construction criteria.  .

• Agency/Permit Support: Provide initial design concepts and renderings that support project 

  advancement at municipal meetings and hearings. Assist Civil Engineers and real estate professionals

• Process Engineering: Review and analyze existing and projected facility processes and support requirements.


• Interior Design: Provide specification and sourcing for finishes, way-finding elements, specialty equipment and furnishings. 


• Ancillary Services: Specification support for franchise operations, tenant agreements, lifecycle 

  costing, project financing and governmental applications (HUD, Historic Compliance, etc.).

We can arrange consultants for specialty services such as acoustics or lighting design/engineering. Co-venturing 

situations are also available when a project needs specialized design services, geographic location limitations, 

project volume requirements and governmental or jurisdiction issues.
